I am so frustrated!!
My mother and I paid for Pinkie to go to a dog trainer. We got the training half off the regular price of $700 a week. She was there for three weeks. We brought her home yesterday.
Today I take Pinkie to the gas station and then to the park. When we get back Pinkie and Minnie go out in the backyard. When they come in she just let's them in!! She doesn't make the sit and wait to come in. The trainer told us that we have to maintain the stuff he's taught her. We are now her pack leaders. Mom says she is not going to make them sit and wait to come in. UGH!!!
Why do I feel like I've just wasted $500+ on dog training that only I'm going to use? Her exact words were, "I am going to try to confuse the dog as little as possible." WTF?!?!? ANY confusion is going to ruin the training we paid $1000+ for. Doesn't she get that? I guess not, and she doesn't fucking care either.
I love her, I really do, but sometimes I think she's the dumbest thing walking. In this case it's stupid because she knows what's right and won't do it because it's too difficult. She says she's seventy and doesn't have to do it. I say she's lazy and doesn't want to do what's best for the dog. If she's not willing to do what's best for the dog the she shouldn't have the dog.
