This book is wonderful. It makes me feel stupid that I didn't listen to my intuition before.
I have learned that I have supplied the predators in my life with all of the information they ever needed to use me. Not a great thought, but a learning experience.
For instance, I remember telling a man I was dating that I had been raped. A few weeks later he told me about a dream he had where he beat up the person who raped me. He showed me that he wanted to protect me. I ate it up like it was manna. Now, I am aware of the behavior and that will help me to not fall into the same trap.
His book is great. I think everyone should read this book if they are interested in protecting themselves from predators. There is a line in the book, "Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them." That is so true!
I am only one page 98 but I am enjoying it. When it was recommended to me I went out to see if I could find it at my local used book store. They didn't have it. I went to Borders and purchased it. It is worth every penny.
